Wardrobes, Cupboards and Sliding Systems

Wardrobe and cupboards are very useful in every home and bureau. You can keep there your food, beverages, clothes, books, documents, and other stuff and in this way save them from dust and keep your room a cosy and clean space where it is pleasant to spend your time.

Besides, wardrobes and cupboards are an excellent decoration of your interior, since they can be fitted into any room or bureau by choosing the necessary size, style, colour, texture, accessories (handles, legs, etc.), decoration elements, sliding or glass doors of a wardrobe or a cupboard.
If you do not have a lot of space at your home or in your bureau, wardrobes can help you to save space since they can stand up to the ceiling and, thus, you can use the height of the room. Wardrobes with closed doors or sliding systems create a visually larger space of a room.

Below are some practical pieces of advice how to keep your wardrobe neat and tidy:

  • First of all, take all things and clothes out of the wardrobe.
  • Arrange all things and clothes taken out of the wardrobe on the ground.
  • Put all things and clothes which have not been used for more than a year aside.
  • Group your clothes depending on the season (summer, winter, spring or autumn clothes) and depending on their purpose – spare time/entertainment, work/school or casual clothes.
  • Put non-seasonal clothes into separate bags or put them on a higher or lower shelf which is not often used.
  • Tie your clothes – keep the parts of your suits or clothes matching among themselves near each other.
  • Keep casual clothes and other things at a shoulder-elbow height so that you can reach them easily.
  • Use hangers in your wardrobe. It is best to use the same hangers in one wardrobe. All the hooks of hangers should “look” at the back of the wardrobe, which helps to create a feeling of neatness and space. Do not load hangers with your clothes since they can break and clothes can crumple.
  • Keep your shirts, blouses, bedding in piles so that the bend would be to the outside of the wardrobe. Never take clothes from the pile very quickly, but carefully.
  • Keep small things, knick-knacks, socks, etc. in separate small boxes or bags in your wardrobe.
  • Fold underwear or roll them and put into boxes or baskets.
  • Put the scoops of your bras into one another so that they would retain their form and would take less space.
  • Tie your socks in pairs so that they would not be lost.
  • Hang your ties and belts on a small hook on the inside of the doors of the wardrobe.
  • Keep various small things, hair accessories, tiepins in small boxes.
  • Fold your handkerchiefs and arrange them depending on their colours.
  • Keep your jewellery, money and important documents in the wardrobe or in a part of the wardrobe which can be locked. Get used to always lock this wardrobe or a part of it so that your valuable things would be in a safe place.
  • Do not keep shoes in a closed wardrobe. The best places to keep shoes are open cupboards or shoe racks which stand in a convenient place. It is very convenient if these cabinets have insertions for socks, shoe polishers.
  • Keep your bedding, towels, and table clothes in a separate wardrobe or shelf in the wardrobe. Keep them arranged depending on their colours.
